Practice Style

Jennifer believes in a collaborative and investigative approach with her patients to find the underlying cause of their problems and introduce long-lasting solutions. As an engaged student of medical practices herself, she proactively educates her patients on how to avoid the situations that caused their original diagnosis. She works closely with patients to develop treatment programs that best fit their abilities and lifestyle.

“I think of my practice as sleuth work: first, exploring the nature of the problem and uncovering its cause, then collaborating with the patient until we arrive at the best solution and ultimately improved quality of life.”

A 2009 graduate of Texas State University, Jennifer moved to Vermont in 2010 with her husband and daughter. Physical therapy is her second career – one she discovered when she was sent to physical therapy for knee pain. She immediately was fascinated by body mechanics and how joint and muscle issues in one place can manifest as pain somewhere else. As an athletic late-bloomer, Jennifer discovered the joys of hiking, running, biking, swimming, and weightlifting in her late 20s and early 30s – accompanied by plenty of enthusiastically inspired injuries. Before becoming a PT, she realized that the best way to fend off injuries was to stay strong. For this reason, and many others, Jennifer realized physical therapy would be an exciting career to embark on.
